Here is a typical Alcatraz cell. Dimensions are estimated at 6' x 8' perhaps. A toilet
sits next to the back wall beside the sink.

Onward to Salt Lake City, Utah. These are the plateus and moutains you
see outside Salt Lake. |

Leaving Utah and headed for Colorado and the Rockies! |

The Rocky Mountain Pines of Colorado.
|

The Rocky Mountains near Vale, Colorado. Lots of mountains in this area
still had snow close at hand. |

As you can see, we had to get into the snow near Vale. In Oklahoma we don't always get
lots of snow. When we do, it melts fast. Can you imagine... snow in JUNE?? Here you have
Dee (Mariner) getting set for the snowball attacks that took place while here.
|

The valley that comes into Denver. The roads are winding and steep, both up and downhill,
but the drive is easy on a four-lane interstate and the scenery is beautiful.
|

Here, I soak my feet in the Colorado River just Golden, Colorado.... brrrr.... cold water,
but nice weather.
|

Here you find Stu wading and Dee looking on (yes, she gets those shoes off and pants
rolled up to get her feet wet).
|

Cody has been in the Colorado River and is waiting to get back in. Water
looks soooo inviting.. but it is absolutely colder then cold tap water! |
