Stephanie T. in Alabama

I am Stephanie, from a small town in central Alabama. 

I work as an assistant at the Physical Rehab Center. I work part-time since I am not finished with my schooling. I enjoy my job because I get pleasure out of helping patients recover from injuries.

I love the outdoors. Like many country ladies, I enjoy hunting and I am absolutely in love with fishing. Deep-sea fishing, pond fishing, and river fishing are all pleasurable. The past few summers I have gone white water rafting. Also, I do a lot of gardening. I garden from early March to early October. 

Traveling is another fun past time for me. I went to just tour New York City and Washington D.C. a few years ago. I went on a cruise in March two years ago. Also, when I was younger my family would go to Texas each year for a week. 

I must say that there’s not much I don’t enjoy doing. I can go from one extreme to the other.

I am majoring in Adult Health Nursing at college. I picked this field because you have a variety of job opportunities in nursing. My sister and I own online boutiques. Her's is a baby boutique and mine is for the older ladies.

I have to tell you that both of my of my grandfathers, like many Americans, served in the U.S. military. Also, back in the War Between the States, many of my family members fought in that war. 

The ladies in my family are members of the Daughters of the Confederacy and Daughter of the American Revolution. I would not be here if not for those men and we ALL should respect and celebrate our heritage and whom we came from. Also, to be a member of the DAR you have to have had ancestors who fought in the American Revolution and I am PROUD to say that I do. 

You see, I, like many families, have had a good many ancestors and close relatives who have fought for our Country. In some cases they fought to create the United States of America. This is the deeper reason of why I felt compelled to join Soldiers Angels.
